Feathered headpiece

Untitled study

A crown of golden feathers passes between people in my studio. Almost everyone who comes through wears it at some point. Its meaning changes with the wearer: the gesture, expression and presence it invites belong to that encounter. I return to the same object to see what people make of it and what changes when they put it on.
